Essaouria is the place we fell in love in Morocco. We have planned to go to this lovely place at the end of our trip just to rest and enjoy couple easy days after driving all around the country...
It is a beautiful seaside town which has managed to escape mass tourism..We took long walks at the seaside, old town and harbour, enjoyed magnificient sunsets from its bastions, ate delicious fishes which came just came out of the ocean, spend lazy hours at the cafes and at the end made a promise to ourselves to return to this city one more time in the coming years...
Fas seyahatimizde kalbimizi bırakıp döndüğümüz yer kesinlikle Süveyra oldu. Bu şehri gezimizin son durağı yapmaya daha önceden karar vermiştik. Araba tepesinde, oradan oraya koşturduğumuz günlerden sonra, dinlenmek, tazelenmek, yavaşlamak ve bu muhteşem kentin tadını çıkarmak tek isteğimizdi..
Süveyra kalabalık turist gruplarının hücumlarından kendini kurtarabilmiş bir sahil kenti. Bizde bu güzel yerde deniz kenarında, eski mahallelerde, limanda uzun uzun yürüyüşler yaptık, kalesinden unutulmaz gün batımları izledik, bol bol okyanustan yeni çıkmış balık ve deniz mahsülleri ziyafetleri çektik, cafelerinde uzun tembel saatler geçirdik ve sonunda, önümüzdeki yıllarda bu güzel kente tekrar gelmek için kendi kendimize söz verdik..
