Yes, as of yesterday blogger/blogspot banned in Turkey for the second time in 2 years. So far I can post but cant see what I and others are posted from blogger.
It looks like some hackers transmitted the live football games of a pay TV station from blogger and our judges chosed the easy way to shut down all the blogs instead of catching the real culprits..
But I know that the best way is to keep doing what I love ,so starting from today and I dont know how long I will keep posting but cant have the access to my and all your blogs posting thru blogger..
Hope to SEE you soon friend...
What a pity!!! Hopefully it will soon return to normal status
ReplyDeleteWow, that's amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow - that is unbelievable! I know a limited amount about the region, but I always thought that Turkey was the more progressive country of the region. I think all the disruption and revolution in the Arab countries makes many surrounding governments nervous.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they lift the ban soon and I will always keep an eye out for your posts.
Nervous seems the right word with turmoil in the region. Hope normalcy resumes.
ReplyDeleteKararı veren hakimin acaba blog ne işe yarar amacı nedir, sanırım bilgisi yoktur ve işin kolaycılığına kaçmıştır,niye suçluya ceza vermiyorsunuzda 20 milyon blogger kullanıcısını cezalandırıyorsunuz,bu mantığı çözmek ve anlamak mümkün değil,sanırım iletişim suçlarıyla ilgili mahkeme kuruluyor yakında, saygılarımla
ReplyDeleteHang in there!
ReplyDeleteWow, hard to imagine! Hope to see you soon!
ReplyDeleteGosh, hope things improve quickly. Couldn't do without your blog and your dear friendship.
ReplyDeleteOh my,don't want to miss you around, x
ReplyDeleteNow that is too much control. Hang in there.

Resist, Turquoise Diaries! I will visit your blog every time you post, to sustain you! It is hard to believe it happens in Turkey, which seeks admittance in European Union! I was positively impressed by the progress made by this country and it is a pity this really happened!
ReplyDeleteim sorry to hear that. stay well
ReplyDelete~laura xx
How disturbing! We will continue to read so keep on writing! We are all watching too! Stay well! best, Susan
ReplyDeleteOh dear, how sad for you. Hope that the ban is lifted soon. Could you try another blogging forum?
ReplyDeleteWe'll all be here and GLAD we are not THERE!
Oh no. We will still be here.
ReplyDeleteAysegul
ReplyDeleteYou bring so much to us through your blog.. the beauty of your country and it's culture.. and the dreams of travel... I will miss you friend... keep your spirits high and thanks for continuing to post.. 'into the void'... we are all here at the other end.. ciao xxxx Julie
I can't believe it's been so long since I've been to your blog, please forgive me, so much has been going on in my life since our economy took such a hit, that I've lost my focus. I've been working hard on trying to have a normal life and just the other day on my blog I mentioned you. I realized how much I've missed you and then today I come to visit and read this!
ReplyDeleteI hope this issue gets resolved soon and that you will at least be able to still post. I'll be waiting on this side my friend, waiting for your return.
Hugs
Aysegul, I hope it won't last too long. Your words are brave and I will continue to read them. I'll be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you can even read you're own blog any more, but if you see this comment can you try another server than hasn't been banned?
ReplyDeleteAl the unrest in the world is making politicians and countries nervous but to ban blogging instead of catching the ones who broadcast illegally is wrong. Hope to see everything go back to normal.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be waiting for you! in every part of the world similar things happen, In Mexico some jugdes shot down a documentary movie that shows how bad the judicial system in this country works! And the documentary was only 2 weeks in the movietheaters before they cancelled it!
ReplyDeleteso! I understand you!
I hope they find the culprits and let you see others' blogs again soon.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I hope the situation changes soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's sort of frightening how things we take for granted can be so easily taken away- that your or any government could block websites, or even "turn off" the internet. It shouldn't be possible.
