Whenever I am writing about a country, I like to make to consecuitive posts. Faces and Places. After talking about tea and Sri Lanka, here are some faces from that beautiful island...
and the last one belongs to a very happy tourist in Colombo...
What wonderful photos. They give one a good sense of the place! I don't think I'd like to live where there are so many monkeys though. I know how noisy, dirty and destructive they can be (having been in the veterinary field for 36 years.) Part of learning to co-habitate is to be tolerant. I should remember that ;)
Your photos always capture the spirit of the place. Even when people are posing for you, you can tell from their eyes that they're not compromising the beauty of their inner world for anything. I love the photo with the people bathing in the water, so at one with nature, so natural in their own skins... pure and uninhibited!
I love the clothing the women wear, especially the green dress that the young woman opening a candy bar has on. Also, Sri Lanka looks to be another excellent spot to visit. I understand it's a favorite travel location for Europeans.

What do ypu mean by in their own skin. They are not naked or semi naked. They are covering their full body.
