Happy 2010

Yes we made it...Finally we are at 2010.. I hope it will be a wonderful year and brings peace and happiness to everbody.

Last night we celebrated the coming of the new year with a special dinner at home then made a midnight tour at the park ( Hera's new year gift) and watched the beautiful full moon. It was a beautiful night, the weather was mild and park was quiet. Hubby and I talked about the passing year and remembered the wonderful times we experienced and promised to make this year the best year of our lives whatever it brings.

Now I am having a quiet morning at home. Green tea, and the new journal..I already wrote 45 items (equivalent of my age) that I am grateful in my life in the first pages of my journal. I love reading them. Always reminds me that I am OK...

Now I gave a break to write this post..Later I am planning to write my goals and probably make the first collage of 2010. My journals are full of favorite quotes and collages apart from the daily entries. I wonder how I fill the empty pages....

  1. It sounds like a perfect evening and now a perfect new day, with a new journal ready to be filled.

  2. Happy New Year Turquoise. Isn't it interesting that although we will author what is put in our journals.....it is also a discovery and an adventure - that's also what I like about a collage - we know what we want to do, but are usually surprised by what we end up producing.

    I love Dina's quote above.

  3. We can't live without our journals, can we? They contain the mutterings of our souls. It's good to know you had a lovely New Year's Eve, and I wish you a wonderful coming year as well. Happy New Year to you!

  8. Happy New Year. I spent a year living in Istanbul and loved every minute of it. Your country is such an interesting one and the people are so friendly, I have fond memories of the time I spent there.

Hope all your dreams come true in 2010.

  11. I think the idea of putting collages in your journal is great. I often include favorite quotes, but I think adding something visual would be a good idea.

    Happy New Year!

  12. Happy New Year Aysegul, I too have enjoyed getting to know you in 2009 and look forward to sharing more in 2010.

Your trips to the beach were magical for me, I love seeing and reading about beaches far away and knowing that our shores are connected by the water between.

Having so many blogging friends from different countries just shows us how much alike we are in our everyday lives. I truly believe blogging brings us all closer together and makes this a better world.

    Happy 2010 dear friend!

I will be a regular reader in 2010 and wish you a Happy New Year or Yeni Mutlu Yil I believe.
