Jealous Dog
We all know that Hera was a jealous goddess but so far our little Hera was not showing any sign of it. Well, not until my 8 months old nephew came to visit us. She has never been a lap dog, not even when she was a tiny puppy. It is always a big struggle to take her on your lap. You could hold her still only couple seconds before she starts to leave a good doze of scratches on your arms and legs.. But look at what a small siblings rivalry did to her.
and this new habit of her gave me the chance to take some decent photo of her and hubby..

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures - and oh yes, our pets can be very jealous and insecure if they have to share attention.
It is beautiful weather here and as I recall, I was in Turkey in September and it was beautiful weather at that time of year..........our trip to Bucada was especially lovely. :-)

she is soooo adorable..yes jealous of the baby! I had a dog that would do that..if a friend came over and I talked too much with them ..would refuse to leave my lap....she wants to be YOUR only baby thatr's for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of my old alsatian - our first pet . Czarina was jealous of our first -born when she came. We did our best to fit Czarina in the extended family.

Isn't it funny how Hera became jealous and possessive so quickly? My dog is terribly jealous and is pretty much like a baby, too.
