Well, they could be old and neglected but these two are definitely my dream houses from our peninsula. I could die to have such an old and wise olive tree next to my house..
As you probably know we are living on a building compound right at the beach. As always it has (+) and (-) sides. But what we are lacking is a nice size garden where we could have our own flowers, vegetables and trees. So we started to dream and look for a piece of property where we could build our dream house and plant our trees.. I am dreaming of making small picnics under a blooming almond tree..
May your wish come true. The olive tree is so tall and thick, must be ancient.
ReplyDeleteWill you not mind hearing olives drop on your roof?
Probably not Dina :))
DeleteGo after your dream dear!
ReplyDeleteThese houses have something that touches me, they look so peaceful and beautiful,
so totally integrated in the landscape.
I imagine myself living there gardening, walking and painting... a dream to cherish,

Such wonderful dreams - may they all come true. I LOVE the old olive tree - such a beauty. Francescax
ReplyDeleteAnd a simple meal on an earthenware plate, eaten in the shade of that tree. Or inside, where the thick walls preserve some coolness against the day's heat. Wonderful dreams -- I hope we'll watch you blog them into being. . .
ReplyDeleteThey both are lovely. The second one looks to me like an old church, because of the little tower I see...may be I'm wrong...I would prefer the first oen, because of the olive tree...I wrote on my blog many times that I love olive trees...I wish you to fulfill your dream, because I really know what you mean...
ReplyDeleteKeep on dreaming until your dreamz come true. The olive tree is truly amazing.
