On our day at Tripoli , gods of rain were with us whole day.. Heavy traffic and labyrinth like narrow streets combined with an outdated GPS made our life really miserable for a while..How ever after we found a secure place for our car near the old town it was great to walk around the souks.. With all its caos this Ottoman city won our heart at the end..
When we entered the laybrint like souks of the old city, the 17th century building Khan Al-Saboun was among our first stop. I bought a big chunk of lavender soap.
Şehrin labirent misali eski çarşılarına dalınca ilk duraklarımızdan biri 17.yüzyıl yapımı Sabuncu Han oldu. Kocaman küp şeklinde lavantalı bir sabun alarak çıktım oradan..
how exciting...mom loves seeing these pictures and different cultures...enjoy!
