Turkish Food...

Summer time requires light food and when it comes to light eating Turkish cuisine is great with its cold dishes cooked with olive oil.. Various kinds of beans and vegetables cooked with olive oil as cold dishes and some pastries filled with cheese or vegetables are my usual summer time dishes..Yesterday I prepared these red lentil balls just to have some healthy snacks around.

As I am a rather terrible cook with very few recepies, today I would like to invite you to Ozlem's Turkish table.  Özlem is a Turkish Lady living in England and she is teaching cooking classes in England and in Turkey. Please visit her blog just to have a virtual taste of Turkish food, and I would like to thank Ozlem from here for allowing me use her photos: '' Thank you, dear''

PS: First 2 photos are mine, the rest are from Ozlem's blog

Not:İlk 2 fotoğraf benim, diğerleri Özlem'in blog'undan..

  2. Hi - I so love Turkish foods and those pictured above look really delicious. I loved the bread, 'ekmek', and all the lamb dishes and the potato recipes always amazed me. I can smell the smells I so loved.
