Update on Hera's step sister..

Hera's step sister is becoming a one fat, happy cat..Unfortunately she is still living outside..We tried to keep her inside but she immediately became the boss and started to attack Hera whenever the two are together. She started to eat Hera's food and sleep on her bed. While we were trying to adjust her to a family of different species, we realized that she is pregnant.  I wasnt aware that cats could get pregnant so early in their life. And as we couldnt guarantee the safety of an easy going and peaceful dog, with a bossy cat with babies, we decided to keep her outside. We will see how things develop after she raised her babies...

  1. Yes, cats can get pregnant the first time they go into heat at about 6 months. I hope you can get Hera's step-sister fixed after her kittens are born! Then she can live outside without fear of future litters.
