I was in front of the TV set whole day, watching some of the roads I passed hundreds of times and couldnt believe my eyes. This photo is from an area very close to İstanbul Ataturk Airport and according to latest news, the death toll reached to 30. Hope the worst is over.
As for our household, we are dealing with another natural disaster. We have a new puppy at home with no training at all..I am sleepless, I am tired but more on that later..

I saw this morning the news from Turkey! And thought about you... glad to hear you are OK and I hope the worst is over too...
ReplyDeleteAbout the puppy... it's always the same at the beggining... :)
Not good. I hardly hear or watch news..., hopefully things are going back to normal soon. It seems to me that there are a lot of "disasters" going on recently, from flooding to the notorious wild fires in California.
ReplyDeleteOh no, 30 dead from the flood. I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteI read about the flooding, and its tragic effects this morning. I'm glad to know you are alright.
ReplyDeleteas for the puppy, it'll get better.
How very scarry! Glad to hear that you're safe, as for that new puppy - best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI have thought about last night when we heard about the storms. We have it here to,but luckily not at all bad.
ReplyDeleteThank God you are ok, I was so worried about you this morning when I heard. It is such a sad tragedy.

Floods are so fast, deadly and leave so much dirt and debris. But the horror of being caught in one . . . I just can't imagine. It shakes one up a little when it happens so close to home.
ReplyDeletePuppies require so much patience, but it is so worth it. Hope you get some sleep.
We are dealing with floods n droughts.... Guess Mother Earth is angry with us for the too much pressure that we lay on her... May God protect the souls...

ReplyDeleteNature does what it does with no regard for us. Still, I wish we could share just a little of our drought with you and you could share some water with us.
ReplyDeleteI watched the flood on the news and I was horrified! Shocking images!
