İstanbul Photos..

Like some people, some cities are more photogenic than others and I believe İstanbul is one of them. It continuously offers you the colors of the present and the past. It's always a joy to hang around with a camera. You may never now what it will reveal to you. Maybe a forgotton story from the past or a glimpse of the day to day struggle...

Today I am posting some magnificent photos from this beautiful city. My friend Guven İlter kindly accepted to share his photos in Turquoise Diaries.. I have been aware of his musical talents but to find out his photographs on his facebook page was a delightful surprise. His web page will soon be ready and I will post the adress from here..

Thank You, Guven.....

  14. Thanks to everyone, especially Aysegul...

To answer a few questions, I'm Turkish, I play keyboards, mostly piano and B3 organ, in a blues and soul band. I usually shoot street photography, although I'm sometimes spotted shooting landscapes. One day I'll have a web site I'm happy with, get a higher percentage of "keeper" photographs, and play at the Blue Note Club. I don't have a clue which one will come first, if ever...

    Thanks again and stay cool...

    Guven

  15. the photos of Istanbul are wonderful. thanks for sharing. Istanbul is such a wonderful city. Thanks for your comments on my site about the photos from my photography tour to Vermillion Cliffs and Slot Canyons. I have many more coming up and the slot canyon photos are truly amazing. It was quite a trip. And good luck with the new puppy. This is the time that is hard to raise the puppy so they don't chew or go to the bathroom in the house.
