I found these beautiful felt hats in a new store in old Datca. The owner Ozlem Suner is mainly selling 100%cotton fabrics that she has collected from different regions of the country in a lovely small shop in this street of old Datca.Although you could find her at http://www.pestemals.blogspot.com/ it looks like she did not update it regularly. As I am planning to buy some of the goodies in her shop, I promise I will bring you some more photos from her shop.
absolutely adorable..the colors are amazing. I brought back little slippers from santorini that remind me of these hats. I posted yesterday on the library in Ephesus Turkey and mentioned your lovely blog!!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful hats! My DD used to wear the most charming hats as a child. Necessary here to avoid the summer sun. Now I can't get her to wear one. Growing up too fast!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your nice comment!! My FIL will be dearly missed.
I love the old street, the stone buildings and blue doors. Then of course, the children make the shot.
ReplyDeleteThat street thrills me! I love your life and all it's beauty filled adventures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog... I am cruising through your blog, loving all your glorious photos - bright colors, fantastic ruins, and beautiful islands with native people. Your photos capture the emotion of the moment so clearly.

ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely & colorful collection of hats. I also loved the pictures of the house with clothes hanging outside and the kids walking in the street. Where exactly is Datca vis a vis Istanbul ?

Gorgeous hats; I'd love one with the flowers all over it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like quite the idyllic street.
I love the hats. They are gorgeous! And a stroll like the kids down the cobbled walks would make my day :)
